Travellin´Band

I remember the time when we stood on the stage
It was the time we used to call, the good old days
We were playing at the balls and fancy parties in the halls
We were the king of music and playing in a travellin´band

We had a lot of gear in the backroom of the truck
And we could play all the hits from disco, country and rock
We were tough and there were fans in every part of this wonderland
We were the king of music and playing in a travellin´band

Sometimes we heard the charts on the radio
Sometimes we heard a song that we could sing while we were rolling on

(Come on everybody clap your hands)

A grand piano and a synth was part of the gear
Spots on stage and smoke coming in from the rear
A PA system that could play out loud so we could reach the happy dancing crowd
We were the king of music and playing in a travellin´band

Sometimes we heard the charts on the radio
Sometimes we heard a song that we could sing while we were rolling on

(Come on everybody clap your hands)

We were on the road with coffee, beers and booze
We didn´t have trouble - nothing to loose
Yes I remember the time on stage and you could say the dancing days
We were the king of music and playing in a travellin´band
Yes, we were the king of music and playing in a travellin´band
